Fitting Your Swim Nappy
Welcome to reusable swim nappies!!! No fuss, no buying nappies over and over for swimming and all you'll need is 2-3 to rotate
Swim nappies are fit the same way cloth nappies do. But if you're new here's 5 steps on fitting your One Size Fits Most Reusable Swim Nappy
- First set up your nappy the way you would like, the rise snaps at front to your baby's size and snap. (If your not sure how much excess fabric will need to be tucked you can do it after putting it on bub too)
- Lay baby on the nappy, making sure his bum crack is covered and pull the nappy front up through their legs so it cover's the groin and sits under his waist with his belly button visible the same way undies would.
- Snap the hip snaps first, making sure the tabs are sitting above babies thighs to prevent dents. Then snap the rest of the waist.
- Make sure you can fit 2 fingers (or at least one finger if your hands are large) between the nappy elastic and tummy and thighs comfortably after the nappy is secure.
- Here you can push any excess fabric up the front rise (under the inside front tummy panel) OR just fold excess fabric up and snap the rise settings if you haven't done this already.
- Tuck all the excess elastic into the folds of thighs and make sure it's sitting in baby's groin where undies would naturally sit.
Washing Your Swim Nappy
Because swim nappies are only used to catch poop (not pees), all you need to do is:
1. Empty any solids into the toilet and flush
2. Rinse out your reusable swim nappy with warm water then put it in your wet bag to go home
3. Machine wash with the rest of swim wear at 30 degrees or less.
And that's it!!!
