What size are your swim nappies?
Our swim nappies are a one size first most meaning one nappy can cover a range of sizes, generally from 4ish kilos to 19-20 kgs depending on the baby because each baby fit is unique; for example on my babies who are taller and chunkier than average our swim nappy fit my 6kg 3 month old and my very tall 20kg 3.5 year old.
Swim nappies are designed to be more fitting like undies and most swimwear, because they have no inserts, and are made to hold only poo allowing liquids to pass through.
What are all the snaps/buttons for?
These are for adjusting the size of the nappy! The waist snaps adjust the width and make it possible to fit baby snugly. The front tabs are for adjusting the length of the nappy. If there’s too much hang (loose fabric) after you’ve put the nappy on, snap some of the fabric up at the front!
When will you release your reusable cloth nappies?
We hope for next year. As a family we want to make sure we have all the design and planning correct and that we are able to deliver what we planned on - an inclusive cloth nappy designed for our big chunky Polynesian babies - and this is coming from a mama who has 5 month old babies weighing 10kgs wearing 1 year old clothes! We also are mindful of the supply and demand - noting the transition to cloth is a lifestyle change many have never even heard of. So for now reusable swim nappies are an easier transition into reusable cloth. They are also still a “win win” in helping our planet and your wallet economically and ethically which aligns with our goals.

What is Kokotuch?
Kokotuch is a rebrand of my “Macrameis” business. I renamed it seeing I’m in a different season of life and unable to create handmade macrame now that I have a baby and toddler. So I’m branching out into a broader direction while still incorporating handmade art where I can.
The brand names are designed to work hand in hand but Kokotuch will focus more on the creative side - hence the play on words “t(o)uch”, leaning more towards play, self awareness and regulation through our senses and art for both adults and children.
